3.1b - Convert .ppk Key File to OpenSSH
These steps are for Windows users with .ppk RSA key files needing to connect with Arizen
Description | Command | |
---|---|---|
1 | Launch PuTTY Gen and click "Load" and select the .ppk key file used for logging into your node | |
2 | Enter your key password and click "Conversions" in the menu bar and click "Export OpenSSH key" | |
3 | Enter a name for the OpenSSH key and save NOTE: You can use the same name as the .ppk key file since there is no file extension, but DO NOT CLICK THE .ppk FILE AND CLICK SAVE (This will overwrite your original key) | |
4 | Return back to 3.1a - Connect to node with RSA Key, Step 4 |
