Creating a New Address in Your Arizen Wallet

Whenever adding a new address or importing any private key(s), you MUST create a new backup as all your previous backups will not contain the private keys for the newly added/imported addresses!

You can get a new "T (Transparent)" address as well as a "Z (Private Zero Knowledge)" address.

  • Click on Get new address and select the type of the address you need, see Figure 3.3. If you don’t have a connected Node you will only be able to create T addresses, as it’s shown in the Figure 3.4.
  • After clicking "Create", the Z address will appear in your Arizen wallet, as shown in Figure 3.5. The new Z address is created on the Secure/Super Node and it's Private Key is also added into the Arizen Wallet.

Please note that you can create new private Z address only if you have both LEDs light green and you are connected to your zend.

Figure 3.3: You can choose the Z address only if you have a connected Secure or Super Node.
Figure 3.4: You can choose only a T address if you don’t have a connected Secure or Super Node.

Figure 3.5: The entire Z address isn’t shown in the "Overview" tab. For a detail view, click on the "i"  icon.
