Changing Your Wallet Password

Click on "File" and choose "Change wallet password" as you can see in Figure 1.9. This password doesn’t need to meet any criteria.

A dialogue box will appear, warning you that this change of password will not affect your older backup files as seen in Figure 1.10.

NOTE: Older automatic and manual backups (Section 1.5) do not include the changed password.
