Why Was My Connection Banned?
The most likely cause is that you are using a Virtual Private Network.
Let's test it. The Brave Browser has a built-in VPN. It is a great browser, go ahead and download it. You get extra rewards for using it on the ZEN Browser.
- Choose "New Private Window with TOR" from "File" Menu
- New window. Your Internet Protocol Address or IP Address is now different, Your geo-location will be different. This is a good thing for privacy.
- Clear security.
- Solve the hCaptcha. This helps to prove that you are a human and not a bot. This is a good thing for the Faucet.
- Choose the "Login" button
- Login normally.
- Your connection to the faucet has been blocked. This may be due to ISP abuse or use of a VPN or proxy.
Open a normal window, or otherwise turn off the VPN or proxy.
- Solve the hCaptcha.
- Claim your reward.
"But, if Horizen is in favor of privacy! Why are you forcing me to give up mine!"
Good question. We have found that if we allow VPN connections, malicious bots will quickly drain the ZEN from the Faucet, leaving less ZEN for honest users, like you!
Now you know.
