The Daily Bonus

Star Counter

On the upper part of the screen you will have a star counter that would start filling as soon as you start claiming. Each consecutive daily claim will accumulate a star (between 20-30 hours apart from your last claim).

Base Value

Each time you make a daily claim, a Base Value is determined. All multipliers are applied against the Base Value. The daily Base Value is a random number between a minimum and a maximum. That min/max may change depending on the value of ZEN (relative to USD) and number of users of the faucet. There is no way to predict the Base Value.

Once the star count reaches 5 stars, you can claim the Bonus Round. In the following explanation, we will explain how the star counter works in detail.

Star Counter rules:

  •  For each consecutive day of claiming ZEN in our Faucet, you accumulate a star and your claimed reward is multiplied by a defined value depending on your star level:
    • Day 1: No Bonus
    • Day 2: 1.2 x Reward
    • Day 3: 1.4 x Reward
    • Day 4: 1.6 x Reward
    • Day 5: 1.8 x Reward + Bonus Round
    • Day 6: 2 x Reward
  •  Bonus round will remain active after the fifth consecutive day, it is important to consider that Bonus Rounds are not accruable, this means that in order to claim it successfully you will need to play it before accumulating again the five stars.
  •  After the claiming of Day 6, the star counter will reset to zero. Missing a consecutive day would also reset the star counter to zero.

Remember, you have a minimum of 20 hours before you can return to the Faucet and claim another reward. If you exceed 30 hours, then you have missed a consecutive day. The intention is to make it easy to claim every day. You have a 6 hour window of time after 20 hours have passed. This usually means once a day, but you still must honor the 20 hour minimum-30 hour maximum.

If you were to claim at 12:00 AM on Monday and returned at 8:00 PM 20 hours would have passed and you would have collected twice on the same calendar day. The 20 hour minimum is decisive not the calendar.

If you were to claim at 12:00 pm on Monday and returned 29 hours later, your star counter would be preserved, even though the calendar would be Wednesday.

This is an illustrative, historical example. No guarantee of future rewards are made. This is not an investment. This is a small incentive to users to learn more about crypto-currency in general and the Horizen eco-system in particular.
