This section was created according to frequently asked questions on Discord in #arizen channel and GitHub.

Is it possible to change my password in Arizen wallet?

• Yes, it is possible. Log in to Arizen and click on tool bar on "File" and then click on "Change wallet password." Your new password doesn’t need to meet any criteria. For more information see Section 1.3.

I can’t log in to my Arizen wallet and I'm 100% sure I am using the correct Username and Password (corruption). What can I do?

• Create a new wallet from a backup *.awd or *.uawd file. See Section 1.2 paragraph 3.

My Arizen wallet crashes when trying to sync large numbers of transactions. What can I do?

• Make sure that you have installed the latest version of Arizen.
• Create a new wallet from a backup *.awd or *.uawd file. See Section 1.2 paragraph 3.

My antivirus determined that Arizen wallet is a virus and I can’t open / install it. What should I do?

• We’d recommend you to add an exception to your antivirus before launching / installing of Arizen wallet. After that your antivirus won’t prevent launching Arizen. Unfortunately, it is not possible to manage all of versions of antivirus software and their white lists.

My Transaction History seems to show only zeros, see Figure 6.1. How is it possible?

• This is common behavior if you carry out only transactions between your own addresses. It means that you transfer your ZEN from one of your addresses to to another one of your addresses and you did not pay the transactions fee.

My computer died and I’ve reinstalled Arizen but I don’t have any backups. Are all of my ZEN lost?

• Yes, they are. Arizen wallet is not a web based service. For recovering your wallet you need to have the *.awd or *.uawd wallet files or a backup of the private keys.
• There are some 3rd party services / software out there for file recovery from hard disk failure or formatting, but often, it comes at a steep price. Recovery of data from a solid state drives that was wiped will not be possible to recover.

What are *.awd and *.uawd wallet file formats? Where can I find any detailed information about them?

• These formats have been developed specially for Arizen wallet. The information about these formats you can find in Section 1.4.
