The server LED (the left one) shows if the computer is up (Ping) and the zendled shows if the zend RPC is responding to requests.

Why the LEDs on the Total Balance is sometimes red and then green?

Mainly due to network instability. Please note that this is not a fault on Arizen Wallet side.

What happens if I change a Secure Node?

After the settings are update by the user, Arizen is syncing the Z addresses in both directions. User should start zend to rescan the blockchain by running command:

zen-cli stop && sleep 8 && zend -rescan

 After rescan is finished, functionality can continue as usual.

Are my private keys stored in the Secure/Super Nodes?

Only private keys for Z address are stored in the Secure/Super Nodes. But T addresses generated from Arizen are securely stored exclusively in Arizen.

No, they live only in Arizen.

Yes, they are in the Secure/Super Node as well as in the Arizen Wallet. The Arizen is keeping a 1 to 1 copy of Z addresses.

What is the address “My Watch Only Secure/Super Node addr”?

This is the T intermediate address that lives in the Secure Node.

Can I run zend locally?

Yes, you should follow the guide for the settings and in the Secure/Super Node FQDN field you should put localhost or 127.0.0.1 .

Can I use the Z transaction functionality without giving SSH credentials?

This is not possible as, an SSH tunnel should be established for security reason. In this way your private keys and information are sent back and forth encrypted. The only possibility to not provide SSH credential is to run zend locally and keep a full copy of the blockchain.
