3. Deprecation Policy

Zen has the same auto-deprecation policy as ZCash, after 64512 blocks (approx. 16 weeks) each released version of zend will automatically shut down. An updated version will be provided before deprecation occurs which partners have to deploy in time.
This is done to protect the users by drastically limiting the likelihood of unknowingly using an out of date and potentially insecure version. More details are available here:

In the unlikely event that no updated release of zend is available before deprecation occurs you may disable this by launching Zend with:

--disabledeprecation {zen version}
